Pentoo installation made easy

It happened! The pentoo installer is finally here!
Jensp did an awesome work and ported the Arch linux installer to pentoo.

It is still in testing for now, but you are welcome to try it, I just did and can tell it's easy as pie.

The following is done from a booted pentoo-2009.0 livecd with the network already configured
First, sync your pentoo repo.
layman -s pentoo
Unmask the pentoo-installer
echo "=pentoo/pentoo-installer-0.1.3" >> /etc/portage/package.keywords/pentoo
Emerge the installer
emerge pentoo-installer
Just run it and follow the informations given by the menus
# pentoo-installer

Let us know what you think and if you encounter a bug, please report it on the trac development site.

Update: pentoo-installer has been stabilized, you don't need to unmask it

Hi guys..is this the very latest pentoo-installer? not pentoo-installer-0.1.3?. and i notice you've successfully using it.

i hate to tell you this but is it just me? 'cause i've using pentoo-installer more than once and after fresh install i got errors:

my /usr/portage/* move up one level of directory(that is on usr /usr), i ask jensp once on the #pentoo and he says dont know(iirc),
secondly i got "invalid atom in /etc/portage/package.keywords".

it happens everytime i do fresh installs(im on 2009.0 x86 btw). ty

Probably a dumb problem, but I get through the install process and then as soon as I go to config the bootloader, (Grub), It comes up with an error: Couldn't find /mnt/gentoo/boot/grub/grub.conf. Anyone know of a link to some help w/this? Installing from live cd RC1.9 to an HDD default partitioned through the installer. Thanks.
